The Band Today
Our current line up is one of the best ever:
Alan - keyboards. Has been with the band for yonks and is a very able 'back line' keyboard player. One of Alan's specialties is boogie woogie. You never know but maybe we might put a boogie number in the set one day.
Dave - Lead Guitar. Dave has a powerful natural talent on the guitar. He will often play his Fender Stratocaster or his Gibson, each having their own unique sound. Dave's memory for music is astounding and he is able to move effortlessly through a vast repertoire. He also supports Justin on vocals.
Justin - Lead Vocals. A fantastic singer. Just hear him sing Never Tear Us Apart by INX. It's terrific.
Nick - Bass Guitar. Having recently joined Nick has bought an extra dynamism to the rhythm section. A highly talented player of both rock and classical music.
Paul - Rhythm Guitar. Paul is one of the bands longets serbign members. He underpins the whole sound.
Paul - Drums. the best drummer we have ever had. Natrually talanetd and full of enegry is how to descibe his playiong.
Tony - Saxophone. A brilliant saxophone player. What more can we say?
Rehearsals
These take place every week come rain or shine. Even if one or two are absent, practices are always worthwhile. We currently rehearse at Mushroom Studios near Hullbridge.
Charity Fund Raising
This is very important to the band and we play at least two functions each year from which all proceeds are given to charity. These are:
Braintree Mencap - we play for their Xmas party
Great Ormond St Children's Hospital - we play at The White Notley Charity day (August Bank Holiday Sunday).
